Please note that some items ship from other states including from: Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Georgia & Indiana and other locations. -- The map above applies ONLY to shipments from our Florida location.  Please inquire on estimated shipping time or view ADDITIONAL MAPS below.  Many items will state "ships from location" when they usually ship from locations other than our Florida warehouse.

UPS & OTHER Expedited services: (Next Day, Second Day, Three Day Select).  We provide these services but can NOT guarantee shipment on the same day for order items.  We do make every attempt where possible, to provide the requested service and ship the product on the same day as the order is placed.  PRIORITY MAIL shipments do NOT ship on the same day that the order is placed (Mail generally ships in 1-3 days - weekdays / for faster shipment time select shipping via UPS expedited services)

Cut-off time for orders placed same day is currently 3 PM.  Orders placed after this time may not ship until following day.  Keep in mind that when counting the days for delivery, the count starts the following day. 

Expedited services do not include weekend deliveries!  Only UPS Next Day - Saturday Deliver will do this - You must call to order any item you wish delivered on Saturday and additional costs are charged by UPS.  Normal Next Day, Second Day and Three Day is NOT delivered on Saturday or Sunday. 

Note that shipping time starts the DAY after shipment.  For example... an order shipped UPS 2nd Day AIR on Thursday would normally be delivered on Monday (Delivery in 2 days AFTER the shipment date).  A next DAY AIR package is normally delivered the DAY after it ships (excluding weekends)

Orders with P.O. Box addresses
 are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
A small handling fee may be added to all USPS / US Mail Shipment orders.

HOW SEEDLAND CALCULATES
YOUR UPS SHIPMENT COST?

UPS AIR & 3 DAY SELECT - Actual cost from UPS.

UPS GROUND Deliveries - We use an average shipping cost based on the package weight for shipments via UPS to all 48 lower USA states.  We do NOT offer ground shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or other offshore islands.  Ground UPS charges we list are only valid on shipments to US 48 states. 

This rate is calculated based on the package weight.  For instance a 5 lb. bag ships as 7 lbs and a 10 lb. bag ships as 12 lbs. Most 25 lb. plastic containers ship as 25 or 26 lbs.  We charge a base of $9.50 + 50 cents per lb to cover the cost of shipping and packaging. Since a shipping and handling / packaging fee is included in calculations for the shipping charges the actual charge you pay may be more or less than what UPS charges.  We do NOT try and make money on shipping.  Our goal is to break even each year on shipping costs.  In the past 3 years UPS has averaged an increase each year of 5-6%.  Our rates are adjusted annually (January) to reflect the UPS price changes.

Note that all UPS charges include a Shipping & Handling fee.
